I'd Get The Sc Form Tegbooster......than Spend The Rest On Some Slicks And Interanls....and If You Got Some Change Get Yourself A Bootle For The Drag Strip...

i don't think this guy wanted the whole turbo vs supercharger talk. if he chooses to go supercharger just let him. hopefully he did the research and decdided that supercharger was best for what he needed. anways, goodluck with it, tell us how it goes and what numbers you put down.

haha :wavey: hey guys, and now for my reply...

yes you can supercharge and make decent power...and it will be just as reliable as a well built turbo set up. that said... the supercharger is a great idea if you want to have a roof on your power. The supercharger made me happy for a little while at ~180hp ish... but i feel like i've hit a roof on power making. I want to be that 400hp beast driving down the road... so im going to go boost... if you plan on doing auto-x then the SC might be a good idea. as well as some great suspension/brakes/tires. I would suggest reconsidering your options... you can build ur own turbo kit for about 1100 that will make twice the power... if you want a great auto-x supercharger will work well... but you will not be fast on long straights, overall it's a great idea... but you have to consider your options first

auto-x : s/c wins
cost : turbo wins
overall power: turbo wins
upgradability : turbo again
reliability : dead even (takes a little more work to make the turbo just as reliable if your building it yourself though)

thats about all i can think of though for now... any other Q's PM me

sounds good..keep us updated on it....installed for 350? that sounds like a good price for a shop to do it. The shops i asked about it charge 500up.

maybe its not time for you to go with FI, maybe you should keep saving your money till you can do more research and make a good decision. whatever you do don't rush things

the plot was that i figured if i dont have the money to get shit done clean and rite then dont do it at all it has way to much potential for me to throw some jimmy rigged shit on it and hope to god it doesn't blow up or fall off while im driveing. but if you guys know of any good turbo kits up for sale id appreciate the help looking for direct bolt on kit for 2000 gsr.
