Default Header question

I was looking into a 4-2-1 header. DC ones are best priced. I was wondering if anyone had any experence with Pacesetter headers. The reason why i ask is that they are finished in Black. I dont mind Ceramic or stainless steel finish, but I prefer Black over both of them because it looks stock and clean. Comptech ones are nice too, but they are almost double the price of the DC ones. any input or suggestions would be appritiated. Im installing it on my 95 Teg RS b18b. I already have a Apexi WS catback. i would be installing a hi flow cat at the same time.

Pace setter is a piece of shit. Don't try to talk yourself into buying it because it is black, truth is, it is affordable or cheap and won't set you back much $$$. If you get it, it will eventually crack and within the 1st month the black will turn to a gray ashy color, much like the color you see in someone's dirty fireplace. I know a dude who is cheap and bought one thinking "FUCK IT" and he ended up having to get a real header. Spending twice as much in the end.

just out of curiousity, where did you hear this information and on what cars were they running... i've seen about 50+ DC headers run on all sorts of cars and have yet to see one crack or "dent" .... unless it was installed poorly denting isn't even possible

Pacesetter is crap. DC isn't the best, but definitely the best for the $. I didn't want to spend $800-1200 on a header.

No however I heard that sometimes the cheaper headers flow better. Even thou they may be less reliable.

BTW, I had DC on my old teg and had no problems except a dent at the bottom.
