headers are one of those things that are good to get used, IMO. as long as it isn't rusty or dented. Its gonna loose that nice factory finish the first week anyway and its not like normal "wear" is going to effect it at all. I got my DC 4-2-1 one-piece off a forum's classifieds (forget which) for like $200 shipped.

but yeah, I've heard a lot of good things about DC sports headers...the one and only bad thing that I've ever heard about them is that the ceramic coated ones tend to lost their finish after a short while, but that's only a cosmetic thing...

I had a Pacesetter Header on my Civic for over a year and it gave me no problems. I had it wrapped with header wrap and it was good to go. sure it lost the black color in about 2 hours of driving, it burns right off cause its paint. but if you want to spend a little more you can get a ceramic one. i had a full pacesetter setup (except cat) on my 1995 civic and it went and sounded great.

Yes, however it certinely isn't one of the best. And a year is hardly long enough to test its durability in the long run.

no thats correct, but ppl were saying that they would last a few months. it was on the Civic and run hard for 1 year, and 4 months. I was impressed with it due to the price of the parts. Pacesetter has also been making Headers and performance parts for longer then most any other company. I wouldnt let price fool you. a company thats been around for that long must be doing something right.

True that, however it isn't up to par w/ others like DC, comptech, or nearly Toda. but if u dnt have tht much $$$ and looks dnt matter, why not...
