Default Reving W/ No Gas

I dont know if anyone else has already posted this, i couldn't find any others. My integra today started reving up higher and higher well i was driving it.I took my foot off the pedal (the pedal wasn't stuck or anything) and still it was reving up. Then turned off the car and started it back up and it would do it but not as bad.Tryed it again and it ran fine for a while, then started back up.This has never happen before, i've noticed it rev higher then usual when idling, but it has never been this bad...Does anyone know what the problem could be or if i need to replace anything?

open your hood... go to the throttle body, there is a cable that runs down the intake side, and jumps into ur firewall, it's your throttle cable... sounds like it could just be stuck on something, or the butterfly could use some WD40

could be a clogged/faulty IACV (idle air control valve). This is attached to the back of your IM and sometimes needs to be cleaned out.
