Default 93 acura integra with unknow engine over heating!!!

hello im new to these forums...seems very good.
my friend gave me a 93 acura integra..it has a newer year engine in it..
the fan is connected to always on as soon as i start the car.its a manul trans btw...the temp gauge was not working so i replaced that working again.... the cooling fan those not turn on by itself so its kept always on. my friend had the car in atlanta so its hotter there but here in ny that definitely cannot be good for the car. im guessing its the fan swith sensor but i dont know where its at to replace it. could anybody please help me. i ant to see if the relay is working but i dont know where its at also , also the ac/heat is not w0rking and the seat belt light does not come off ;` ( my syster recently crashed my civic so i need this car to work asap ;` p

btw how do i identify my engine year?

The fan switch on newer Tegs are located on the thermostat housing. Follow the lower radiator hose up to the engine and where it stops is the thermostat housing. Its screwed into it and has a 2 wire connector coming out of it. The relay for the fans is located in the under hood fuse box.

Here is a link to another thread: https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...d.php?t=220792. The picture in thread shows the fan switch circled in white. It may be a little different since you don't know the engine code. BTW, the engine code should be stamped on the block to the right of the header. It is near where the transmission meets the engine. If your looking at the front of the engine you should be able to see it.

check our engine code on the left side of the block, top of the transmission... should say something "B18B1" or "b18c1" if it's a newer year it will be a B18, it's most likely a B1 (LS) but it could be a C1 (GSR), when im off work i'll get pics on where the code is located

The engine block(lower part of the engine). The stamp is to the right of the headers.
