For some weird reason, i am thinking that the s2k redlines at an abnormally high rpm. Sorry if thats a little off the subject, but i would still like to know. What series of engines are in the s2k's?

it's a modified f-series, alot like that of the f20b, basically it's an f series with a head that is similar to that of a h22
on a side note: it's rwd, and without alot of work it's not fitting in a civic.

spoon engines arent anything special when it comes to making power, they use all OE parts. the idea behind them is that they are almost perfectly balanced (to within 1/100th of a gram) meaning the engine is smooth.
the idea is basically that the engines are so well balanced they can see majorly high revs for the majority of their lifetime

EDIT: i thought it was 195. so if you figure a 15% loss to the wheels youd be at ~165whp. considering spoon uses OE internals and the motor has an aftermarket header and tb, it would be a gain of 9whp from the 2 bolts ons. makes sense to me..
EDIT2: so pretty much this is an extremely well balanced b18c5 that will be able to take a beating a stock one couldnt + bolt-ons. correct me if im wrong.
