64mm Gsr Tb And Skunk2 Intake Manifold
THIS IS ON A 97 GSR.
So im putting on my 64mm gsr tb (obd2) and skunk2 manifold on this sunday! Ive got the ITR bracket/cable and an ls throttle body pulley (the shit that the cable wraps around!) lol
I ordered new GSR gaskets for the tb and manifold to head.
now my question is, what did i do wrong (if anything) or should it go smooth? Ive heard of HORRIBLE idle issues and all sorts of wierd stuff. Am i going to run rich/lean?
Other than the TB and manifold, ive got skunk2 stage1 cams, JDM itr header/hi flow cat/rsr exmag and injen SRI.
Lemme know what else i need before i do this, and will the gsr gasket work or did i need a different one since im using a skunk2 IM? Thanks in advance.

As long as you double check all vacuum connections, you shouldn't have any problems with idling or running extra rich. You should really consider adding a VAFC to your setup because it is probably in need of tuning.
All the gaskets are the same. You have prepared for this, so it shouldn't give you any problems. I found getting everything I needed for it to go smoothly without hacking anything together made it go smoothly. It took me maybe 4 hours to replace the manifold and put in my CTR cams.

I FORGOT! i still need to know where the PCV line goes since there is nowhere in the back of the intake manifold for it to hook up to. According to alldata, it doesnt NEED to be hooked up since its emmisions, but if its not hooked up to a vacuum line then that plunger doesnt plunge, correct? You need to have the PCV valve connected to a vacuum source to evacuate the oil vapors that cause excessive pressure in the crankcase. Without vacuum, the valve will not open.

so do i just need to T into another source, or can i just take out that plunger? I caught shit on TI.net for asking these questions, but no one covered it! freakin a holes

PS a nipple popped off a coolant line when i was leavin my buddies. luckily i found it on the ground and he had a hella small hose clamp for me to use! hope i dont run into any other problems
