Low Temp Gauge

Low Temp Gauge
Anyone, please help with this problem. I have a 95 Integ SE with 180K miles. I have replaced the Rad (aftermarket) 2 yrs ago but did not replace hoses, stat...just the Rad and the system worked great. Recently, the Rad go leak so I bought another aftermarket (seem like the right part b/c the look and config are the same as the previous one). I also replaced upper&lower hoses and OEM stat when I replace the Rad second time (about 2 mons). Since then, I realize the Temp Gauge is about 1/4 from C when I set the Heat Control to Max (hot side), one of the fan is ON once awhile and both are ON when I set AC ON. Even though the Temp Gauge low, the heat working great (takes about 5 minutes idling to get heat in winter time). But when I set the Heat Control to Low (cool side) the Temp Gauge is about 45% between C & H. I already check System Leak but no evidence found plus the Reservoir Container has not been low at all. I have thought about the Stat but if that the case then I should get heat when the Temp Outside drop to teen, right? plus this is the OEM part I got from Acura Dealer.
Anyone have any idea what the problem is? Thanks in advance

m735isIf you put the heat back on (hot side), does the gauge go back to 1/4?
It should stay about half way, maybe you have an airpocket somewhere? Have you bled the system?01-20-06 08:47 AMI did set it back on the Hot Side and the same thing happen; it goes back to 1/4 of the gauge. I did try to bleed the system by let engine run for about 30 mins, set the heat control to HEAT, and lift passanger side up so that the bleeding valve higher than normal. Then bleed it few time; each in 10min interval while the engine still run. And I did the same thing with the Driver side. Have not seen any better result yet.

Everyone else says it sounds normal, so I guess you shouldn't worry about it. Good thing the temp gauge is reading lower, if it was reading higher then I might look into it further.
If it doesn't fix itself, maybe it's just cooling too well with the heat on because of a faulty new t-stat-slightly sticking open???? If your car is running fine (not TOO cool), I wouldn't worry about it.

Is this normal? I just found out today after heading back from work. It is about 30 degree outside today in Southern Maryland. After I get home from work (about 20mins driving), I checked the Lower Hose (radiator) is cool instead of warm or hot. I did set the Heat Control to HotSide and turned the heat on @ #1 and the heat came out fine. Just wonder is this normal?? Should I check my Thermostat?? Like I said above, I just replace the Thermostat (OEM from Dealer) about 2 month ago. Please help.
