NEXT QUESTION
there is a line right next to the 3" inlet of the turbo where the piping will go and then filter. BUT it looks like the line is in the way......can i move this and WHAT IS IT?

 

That is your clutch slave cylinder. You can't move that. You are probably going to have to either have some custom piping made so a filter can be ran, or run a screen over it only.

 

i hear that screens ONLY are a NO NO!!!!
i was thinking of trying to ben dit towards the rear just so a pipe could be placed there.....then i can run a filter, im thinking K&N

 

I love my K&N filter, but I was just throwing the screen idea out as a last resort since it appears that making piping that will clear that line will be difficult.

are you able to elbow it off and put a filter up top... possibly 2 90* angles to put it towards the radiator

 

i think so. what im gonna do is move that line over a bit and then do like you said. was thinking 2 90's. father the filter is away from the motor better right? or it doesnt matter because of the IC?

 

personally i don't know the difference in intake temp it would make, the intercooler will already cool the air down and make it more dense, im just thinking that it'd be best to keep it away from the engine for the heat purposes. u ever seen a filter melt? lol it'll happen if you get it close enough to that pretty exhaust manifold of urs
