You can get slim fans from all over the place. Summit is one place I'd look at. Another thing you could do for even more clearance is use a "pusher" fan and place it in front of the radiator.

ya know i was just thinking that 2. is there a difference of a pusher fan and my regular fan? can i just take the reg fan and put it in front of the fan. if not.....what if i get 2 slims and put them in the motor bay, and 2 pushers and put it infront of the radiator, over dooing it or no? the cooler the better right?

The problem with putting the reg fan in front of the radiator is it will be pushing air in the wrong direction (pushing air towards the front of the car instead of the engine). Reversing the polarity may make the fans spin in the opposite direction to get that effect, but I wouldn't recommend it. The fan-blades are not shaped to efficiently push air in the other direction.

Go with some slim profile fans as mentioned by others. You should be able to find some that will work for you. If there is still not enough room for slim fans then find a way to move the radiator forward slightly.

i think he was talking about putting an elbow on the manifold and going to the turbo...but that wouldn't make any sense whatsoever because then the turbo would be pushing the radiator area even more
