I Think the first thing you should do is take the car and do a leakdown test & compression test. The worst feeling is adding oil every few hundred miles or seeing smoke fly out your tailpipe.

i agree with Takumi Fujiwara. i was actually looking for a 300zx at a nissan dealership and found my teg. 95 GSR 68k. black 2 dr black leather. a old woman came in that day and did a trade in. i bought it the next day. if you find a good deal jum p on it. dont settle for anything less. i found a 94 GSR 2dr red, with 40k on it, once again driven by an old lady. NO LIE.....so i bought that too, i had to. once again, they r out there. id rather wait a yr and continue to save then buy an IF'y teg and kick myself later......

BTW people its "Vtec" and depending on what you wanna do sometimes a LS will be better......such as going turbo, do to the engine having low compression it will take boost better. I didnt care and opted for the GSR, ill just be running lower boost

first of all welcome noob!!!! let me give you some facts..... 1st what type of area do you live in???????? "ISA" stands for "integras stolen alot":jawdrop: 2nd if you choose a gsr model, make sure when you test drive it.......... "let it warm up" shifting from second to third "dont shift till damn near redline" if you hear or feel a grinding sound walk away..... i think a compession and leak down test is ok but can get pricey after a couple of test drives just look for a lot of smoke out the tail pipe...... final "research" all the question asked or hear in this thread it's make you feel better finding the answer on your own...... welcome!!!!!!!!!:goodjob:
