Huh? I think I lost some intelligence by reading this.

Your "advice" has to be one of the stupidest things I have seen in a long time. And you call me an idiot.

That fact that you agree with him is scary.

I can't believe what I read on this board sometimes.

My advice? First of all, it IS a solution to his problem. Many people have done it, it doesn't cause any problems...maybe if you had been around for "a long time" you would have seen this before. I never said it was the correct solution, or a good one at that...just A SOLUTION. It works, period.

Oh yeah... I don't post a lot so that means I don't know anything, right? That has to be one of the most ghetto ways of "fixing" something I have heard of in a long time. I'd rather do things the right way... the first time. But that's just me... I'm not a hack.

Where did I ever say it was the right way, or that I'd do it? Where did I say it wasn't ghetto? You're not getting me here. It works, it's a trick to get around running a chip/o2 sim for a little while to tide him over and get that CEL off. BTW, the REAL way to fix it isn't by running an O2 simulator either.

Well, he did provide you with a solution to the problem. Whether it be what you want to hear, it is.

By reading your post he figured you were looking for a quick, cheap and effective solution, so he gave you one. You can do this for the time being until you can fix it.

Also, if you plan on tuning at all, I hope the test pipe has a bung on it.
