Default Best 2nd Gen. Power Maker

I will soon be buying a 2nd Gen Integra (I've been wanting one for a LONG time, and it takes forever to save with the pay I get). I am looking to get a very clean one with about 125-150k on it. After I get my alarm system put in, I will be looking for the best power. I know I have several choices here, but I want to go FI. Mainly I am deciding between doing some kind of swap or just putting a turbo on the stock engine. Either way I will be adding a turbo. What would be a good engine to slap in there that would be good for boost? I am trying to keep the cost down, so keep this in mind. What do you think: Turbo the stock, or swap and turbo that? Thanks!

non VTEC, probably an LS or GS, maybe a RS... I'm spending $3.5k on the car.

I have a 2G also and I suggest that you turbo it but first I would do a compression test to make sure the engine is strong enough for a turbo. I have the RS and have been told that this has the strongest body and frame compared to the LS and GS.

Yeah, I heard that the RS has the sturdiest body too. What engine stuff would I have to beef up if I were to turbo it? How much total cost am I looking at for beefing up/turbo'ing it? How do you do compression tests? Thanks!

Yeah, just the boost the LS engine. Good displacement, low compression, long gears. Turbo'ed LS's are pretty damn fast.

You are gonna get a gen2 with 125-150 K miles on it for 3,500 grand? What a rip off. You can get a way better deal.
