Default Just Bought Plugs And....

I wanna throw them in ASAP. Only problem is they're gapped at like .045! Stock is .030 correct?? How do i make it smaller? Pull the ignitor up? or push top of it towards the ignitor? Thanks in advance.

97 GSR, basic bolt ons with skunk 2 stage 1 cams next week.

just tap the tip down to make the gap smaller.

You really don't want to tap down on the tip. It can crack the ceramic inside and booger it up. Then you can get spark up inside rather than on the tip.
A better practice is to bend it down or out as required.

this sounds REALLY stupid, but i just put em in (gapped between .040 and .045) and vtec really doesnt seem to kick in as much.... odd. It hits, but its definetly not as loud!

Only run .030 if you're running boost/nitrous. Run the stock .044, it's listed as that for a reason. And no, I don't think the stock b16 gap is .030.
