Default Throttle Body

Ok so i just got my Skunk2 intake manifold the other day and have yet to install it. Before i put it in i've decided that i want to get a throttle body also. I've started to look into them but can't decided on which one to get because i don't know too much about them. Right now i'm deciding between the 70mm Spoon one and the 70mm Big Bore BBK one. Can anyone let me know which would be better. Any help would be great. Thanks

The price on the Spoon one is $552 and the BBK one is about $380.

70mm is pretty big, do you have a serious allmotor setup? or plan too?

Like exhaust, intake tubing that is too large sacrifices flow velocity for flow capacity. This can lead to poor low and midrange, depending on how overkill the size of the intake path is.

I've heard good things about the BBK, and with Spoon, of course it's great, but your definitely going to pay for it. If you're going for the BBK let me know, I can get you a much better price than $380.

Yeah 70 mm is big unless you have a good all motor setup or FI. With spoon you pay for the name, I would get the BBK

Ok i'm glad that i know that and no my motor is not a huge all motor setup. I'm deciding to stick with the BBK one since it is cheaper and i don't need the Spoon one. Anyways I know BBK makes a 68mm and a 62mm throttle body. I will be going with either of those. Should i stick with the 62mm one since the 68mm is still prolly too big. Cause i'm sure even with only the 62mm one i should still notice a difference because the gsr stock measurement is about 58mm i think(some one let me know if i'm wrong on that measuremnet). Thanks for any help that i get i appreciate it.

Oh and 01GSR can you give me some prices on both the 68mm and 62mm BBK throttle bodies. If you wanna just email them to me my email is Chrxs097@hotmail.com Thanks alot.
