Default HELP! the car die after i let go the accelerate!!!!!

My cousin and I swaped the engine from 2000 type r to 93 Ls with Block 20. it start but the thing is that when i hit on the accelerate the rmp go up then when i let it go then it just drop the whole way and died , it current on 800 rpm when i start the car up, it drop everysingle time... could someone please help me, thanks alot...

wait, did you just say you took out your type r motor for an ls??? and if when you try to take off and it stalls make sure your in 1st and not 3rd..

yeah, the type r has Block 18 and this one is Block 20, more hp for it. i just took it for test drive it kick back when it hit 5700rpm cause it has the Ls head. I guess i have to put the block 20 with my type r head in it,, any commons???

no, there is not more hp on a b20 versus the type r's b18. what are your tryin to accomplish exactly and what is your problem? if i understand your right, you put a LS head on your type r block?? why why would you do that? what ecu are you running?

we swaped the b20 with the LS head into my type r, when i start the car it was fine and when i hit the accelerate then and let it go then it just drop down the rpm then die. what could be the problem???
i thought it could push more power with the b20, but i think i'll put the type r head with the block 20 and see how it work....

What i am trying to do is get more hp to my type r without having turbo and nos or super charger stuff.....Any one have opinions????????

to fix the problem put the B18C5 back in.

that is the dumbest ass backwards thing i have heard of u took out a b18c5 :thinking: :wtcslap:

you need to replace the ls motor with your old motor. your problem right now is probably cuz your running a vtec ecu on a non-vtec motor.

Vpuppy! i was thinking about the vtec too. i took the type r head to the shop cause it broke after i was racing with the other acura. that's why i am trying to put the b20 in as well, since i am fixing the head. After i was racing then i heard clicking sound after i hit about 3000- 4000rpm. but after that i don't hear anymore clicking sound. anyway, after i get it fix at the shop then i'll put the type r head with the b20 on the type r.

And go for GSSR yeah it is a really domb ass if my engine is still working and i put the LS engine in it,,,,
