you can break the tabs as mentioned before. then look at the electrical plug and pull the middle part out. its just a cover and it allows you to put it back to stock anytime. take a needle nose pliers and pull it out.

ye my low beam bulb burned out and i didnt feel like getting a new one since HIDs are coming so i did up the high beam bulb with a dremal and works nicely, no more cops pulling me over
