yeah i still think my rings are shot

 

I was telling you that from day 1, but you didn't believe me. I went through the same phase thinking that I was running really rich, but it didn't help when I leaned it out.

Trust me, I have run very rich at around 10.5:1 under full boost and I didn't see one puff of smoke. You aren't running rich, but it is nice to be in denial of such a tedious and expensive job like piston ring replacement.

 

When my pistons cracked at where the rings sat...it did the same thing. At first I thought it was the pcv, but i wasn't so lucky. lol

 

where can you get a replacement dipstick? mine partially melted...
