i think mine was the same. rather quick, lasted forever, you could put it at ground zero of a nuclear explosion and it would crank over.

There were "freak" motors in some of the n/t Eclipses/Talons. One of the ways to tell is to do a compression test and compare your results to a normal LS.

I know what you mean, my 94 pulls harder than most other Integra's i've driven, but it could all be psychological too... but, something that was weird, when I have my 91 Civic Si - Stock (back when I was young and stupid), I had raced against a friends '90 Civic Si that had a header, exhaust and intake on it, and i'd always pull a few car lenghts on him... no idea why... many possible reasons, its possible it had a *special* engine, I was a better driver (haha, maybe not), his engine needed work, who knows...

I just bought a 95 LS with 166,500 miles on it. I drove it and it seemed fine. I'm still wondering how long it will last me before I have to rebuild it. Once i have to rebuild the engine, it will be boosted.

take care of your car, mine has 222k on it and still pulls very strong.

Joe, have you considered the possibility that your engine has been modified? or that perhaps somebody swapped in a gs-r tranny or something :dunno:

just a thought.
