Default Do honda dealer service a teg?

I have a G3 teg that needs a new clutch put in. I want the dealer to do it, and the acura dealers are not anywhere near me, but there is a honda dealer near me, so maybe they can service it for me? Usually do honda dealers service acura cars?

I don't see why it would be a problem either. Acura is owned by Honda right? I don't know about you but I have all kinds of little honda blips on my car, like the windows, the valve cover...

I didn't think there would be a problem either, but I just hope that they have the part in stock- a stock 96 integra LS clutch.

Prepare for an anal raping if you do decide to go to the dealership. Isn't there a reputable shop that can do it for you?

Your car is 100% Honda parts, so I don't think they would have a problem servicing a car made with their parts marketed under a different name.

I have no idea. I have never taken my car to the dealer for service, nor will I ever take my car to the dealer for service.

I did pay around $600 for my local mechanic to do it with OEM-equivalent parts, so add 20% and you will get a ballpark estimate of the cost. It is this reason why I have decided to pick up the tools and do it myself.

Clutches aren't cheap. The OEM clutch kit will run you around $350-400 from Honda and the labor involved with a clutch job isn't cheap either. Expect 4 hours of labor to be charged at around $70-75/hr.

Just do it yourself! not hard to change a clutch.

I've done it on my GSX, shouldnt be too hard on a FWD car
