Looking For: Rolling Chassis, rear axel, control arms (rear)
Hello,
My 1990 Acura Integra is not drivable currently...
The rear left tire is bowed in at the bottom by about 1". The frame, right where the control arm connects is bent back to the sway bar (I think that's the rod that goes from left to right)
Anyway, I need a rolling chassis (I would replace the rear frame bar that goes left to right but I have been told it might not pass inspection... ?) a rear axel, control arms, any anything else I am forgetting.
Any info or if anyone knows someone else with these parts, get back to me asap, this is my only means of transportation at the current time.
Thanks, Wes.

The first place that comes to mind is your local salvage yard.
The Rancho Cordova Specialized Recyclers are a great resource if you're on the West Coast.
But I'm concerned about the integrity of the frame, specifically the mounting point for the rear trailing arm. If the RTA is bent by over and 1", there may be damage to the frame as well. Worst case scenario, the RTA mount could fail. :noes:
I strongly recommend finding another DA Integra or EF Civic. If your interior is in good shape, you can make a decent amount of money by parting it out.. it just takes time.

The RTA is barely bent at all. The Control Arm happens to be bent back to the sway bar and that was about it.
If anyone knows who I can part this thing out to, or how to go about it. Then by all means get back to me asap.
I want 600$ for the whole car as it is.
Thanks.

Post a thread to advertise the car, including your location in the title.
We get quite a bit of traffic through there, so you should get a response quickly.
