Default what kinda suspension to get

i really wanna get some shocks and springs in my GSR but its so expensive. on group buy center i can get a good set for like $500 which is good, but is there a better way? like what if i bought parts from honda for the type R. would that be cheaper/better? if not then what kind should i get? i want to retain driveability cause i need to drive around town a lot, and i want a good 2 inch drop to get rid of that ugly wheel gap. what do you guys say i should do?

well dont try and cheap skate this one suspension is expensive and if you go cheap like off brand then you get bouncy stuff and you wont like it. i would either go with skunk 2's or ground controls. and then get koni yellow red or blue or the agx shocks

and dont go to the dealer to get Type R parts. you can find those pieces from other places for a whole lot cheaper.

What brand is the group buy stuff? $500 isn't a bad price, but it all depends on what you're getting.
I got KYB AGX's and Eibach Pro-Kits off of www.coximport.com for about $540 shipped, which I thought was a very good price. Those springs are rated for a 1.3" drop, but I think it was actually closer to 1.5" or slightly more. It looks good, handles very well, and the ride is decent.

Ilike KYB shocks too, quality stuff. Adjustible so more flexible. Think about the roads where you drive before you go extreme on drop. The H&R OEM sports give .75-1.0 drop, and are progressive. That is the setup I will run if I don't have to sell the teg.
