unless someone else knows a better way i had to call the acura dealership and give them the serial number off the cd player to get the code, which means i had to remove it first! which SUCKS!!!! and don't lose it once you get it! if anyone knows an easier way i wish they would have let me know when i had this problem lol

I called the dealer it was purchased from (if you know) and they told me they put the code in about three places on the car in case the code card was ever lost. True as heck, it was there. Other than that, get a new unit, the stock ones are not very powerful.

yeah i agree, the stock HU's sux balls, but sometimes you have to use em when you're broke and burn your aftermarket up(aka me). Yeah the idiots who sold me my car said they didn't post my code anywhere in the car and they wanted like $40 just to rip it out and tell me the code when they're the assholes who made it necessary in the first place! i have not been back to the dealership since that day and don't plan on it ever again!

The code is clearly documented in the owner's manual.

Unless you don't have an owner's manual.

In that case, you need to get the radio's serial number and get the code from the dealership.
