I know about the button under the steering column but I push it and it still does not go out. Any other ideas?

 

I think you have to stop the car, then push and start the car back up. Or something of this sort...

you're not holding the button down for long enough. hold it until it shuts off.

 

:werd: if its not turning off, you aren't doing it right.

 

HOw long do u have to hold it for? Does the key have to be in the ignition?

 

I can't remember exactly which one is right, but you either start the car then hold the button down for a few seconds until the light goes off, or you just turn the key to the on position without starting the car and do the same....try both, one will work

 

dude what the hell . just go out and mess with it. holding down the maintenance button for too long isn't going to ruin your car or anything.

It was just something that was played around with.

 

grr can't find it.... getting me pissed off...i see the fuse box near the column but then if ur talking about undernearth the steering wheel column itself i can't find one single button =X someone mind posting a pix or how i might possibly be able to find it...? thanx for the help
