Yes, it is. I have done both.

I cannot see the pictures to let you know which part you need. If you could blow them up a little, it would be helpful.

Ok so here it is again, My question is, I snapped the screw part, right under the rounded nut cap. What needs to be replaced? I have the washer but the nut cap has the remaining screw stuck in it, so that will have to be replaced as well as the screw, but what in addition to the screw do I need? I have never taken the head off before, is there anything I should look out for besides just removing the plug wires and screws? Lastly, is the car safe to drive with the screw the way it is now? Thanks alot. The pics should be larger now.

The head doesn't need to be removed to replace that stud. I think you are confusing the valve cover with the head.

The part number for the nut is 85150 and the part number for the stud is 83518.

You will also need the valve cover gasket part number 7410 and 4 spark plug grommets part number 7420. Pick up some grey gasket sealer at any autoparts store to seal the sharp corners of the valve cover gasket before you put it back on.

It is safe to drive in its current state as long as their isn't a massive oil leak coming where the nut broke.

I didn't notice that your pictures were enlarged.

Everything you need is in the bottom picture.

The nut: #21
The stud: #18
The valve cover gasket: #5
The spark plug grommets: #7
