Just wondering if anyone is running a LS VTEC in their 94+ integras. I am looking into this project and was wondering how happy people are with the setup, and possibly track times. Thanks...

 

Well Im not running LS/VTEC but aut0tek is runing LS/VTEC on a Gen 2 with 11.5:1 compression, JE pistons, Eagle Rods, Skunk2 chipped p28 (cuz we're OBD-1) and 330 cc injectors, damn i know it'll be sweet

i've been doing some research on ls/vtec and crvtec too. lots of power and torque potential. and thats NA.

looks like thats the route i might go when i get my car. thumbup:

 

Here's my setup.. too bad it's not dropped in yet...two weeks... I already have all the boltons, ported tb, crane hi6 w/ps92 race coil, magnecores, fuel pressure regulator... but here's the serious stuff:

B18A block
.25 over ITR pistons
Vtec oil/water pumps
Vtec bearings
ARP rod bolts
Fully balanced
Knife edged crank
Unorthodox lightened crank pulley

B16A head
milled .0030
Crower ti retainers and valve springs
Stainless steel valves
ITR manifold
Skunk2 cam gears
GSR cams
Walbro fuel pump

S1 tranny
ACT 6 puck HDPP
12lb flywheel

I basically was patient and shopped around for the cheapest parts available... use new parts when you should and use used when it's ok to. The block and head work, plus installation costed me roughly 2000... but I got good deals from people around the way...I still have to figure out my mangement system, currently a chipped p28 using various programs(skunk, JUN, Mugen). I'm eventually gonna run hondata stage 2 and redo my entire exhaust system... let me know if you want any more details. Good luck with your project
