Not really...but you have the basic concept. Tranny > axles (or intermediate shaft and then axle) > wheel hub > wheels, but semantics are pointless. h:

if you hear a loud banging or knocking noise when shifting and apply applying gas and down shifting and you feel your shifter moving after engaging a gear it is your motor mount/s and or bolts. The loud noise is your tranny moving and banging against the car. Get your car checked out as soon as possible as it is possible for your tranny to fall to the the ground if you drive on it for 2 long...

Thank you so much for everything guys! You all know so much about cars. I'm just a girl who just wants a pretty car! Lol... Anyway, my dad and I took out the IACV and cleaned it today. My car is much better now and is performing great! Thanks for helping me locate it and listing off all the things that could have been wrong with it. This is a good place to be
