GSR wheel stud and sway bar
HOwdy all, my '95 GSR is running again after breaking the timing belt. I did have a bent exhaust valve and I had to do the cylinder head. Good news is that it runs slightly better than before!
Anyhow, I recently broke a front wheel lug. We tried getting out the hub but that sucker is TIGHT! Do you guys take that out yourselves or take the assembly to the machine shop and have them press it out?
Also, I goofed up a sway bar link. This one is the "L" shaped type. The dealer has it for $61. Any of those available aftermarket for less $'s?

If you can take the front hub off, take a big socket (one big enough for the stud to fit inside loosely), and place it on the bottom of the hub so that if the stud fell out it would go insde the socket. Then hit the stud with a hammer. If you broke it off so there is nothing to hit, use a punch. If you cant get it out like that, I would take it to a machine shop. I used the socket and a hydraulic press when I took mine out. Penetrating oil is your friend though.
Thast the best way i know of to do it, hope it helps.
