I ordered an S2000 oil filter from my local Honda dealership for my next oil change, now if anyone has any reason why it will not work on a B18B, tell me now please, lol

Why? Is the S2000 filter somehow better just because it's on an S2000? I personally don't forsee it fitting based on the fact that the engine series' are different and I know that Dseries filters don't fit on Bseries blocks. Not sure what the point is...

Yep, it's better, and I run S2K filters on my B18C block

Current OEM filters are made by FRAM. Enough said. The S2K OEM filters are actually HAMP filters made in japan, and they have better and larger filter elements, better contruction, and apparently also flow better than the current standard OEM filter. The part is 15400-PCX-004

I just run K&N or Mobile1. Interesting info though. I had no idea. I take back my obvious sarcasm from my initial reply. :reechy:

i think the current s2k filters are the same size as the old honda/acura filters before the big switch to the smaller ones a year or so ago.
