Default Best all around tires

what are hte best all around tires to put on GSR blades?

i'm thinking kumhos or something... i live in the northeast so i need something that will give me respectable traction on the rain/dry/sandy roads, understandable i prolly wont find something that will be good in everything but at least somethign that will fill those requirements at least into the 7's on a 1-10 basis

I've heard good things from Falken Azenis (sp?). I use Kuhmo Ecsta's because my camber's bad so I just buy cheap tires since there's no use in buying expensive tires when they only last like 12K miles.

what's your price range? 205/50/R15 Azenis is a good choice if you don't have a lot of rain or snow in your area. My friend just got the Sumitmo 195/55/15 and those tires grip pretty well. AA traction for wet weather.

Yeah this is a damn good tire if you have to deal with rain and snow. I run these on my blades and Azenis on my autoX wheels. I can definetly say they are not far behind the azenis. The main difference is that Azenis seem a lot more solid under hard cornering. But the BFGs hardly lose any grip in the wet conditions. Don't be fooled by the boring tread pattern, this is a great tire.

I would go with the Azenis rt-65. Its the new style and they have improved the rain and snow feature.....well i can vouch for the rain anyways...no snow yet!

I was unhappy with my Kumho Ectsa tires, yokohama makes a far superior product

I agree. I had two sets of Kumho Ecstas and they were super grippy at first and then became unsafe as they wore.

I have Nitto NT450's right now and I like them a lot more. They seem a little squishy into the turns since their max psi rating is only 35 psi, but they stick much better than the Kumhos, wear slower than the Kumhos, and have a very aggressive tread pattern. I haven't gotten to use them in the rain yet, but dry handling is awesome.
