Just out of curiosity - at what age do you think a person is too old to drive a modded teg? In high school all my friends had them. (I'm quite a few years out of high school now..) I bought a teg recently more for the reliability and practicality but always thought it would be fun to have it tastefully modded. I noticed a lot of post-ers here are like 17-20, any older teg owners here? Not trying to offend anyone by the question, but just because my exposure to modded tegs was in Los Angeles as a high schooler, I've always associated them with high school age people - I'm sure there's a much broader population of modded teg owners out there so just curious about what everyone else is like on this board, and what you all think.

Tastefully modded I think almost any age. They are fun reliable cars. At 23 I still really enjoy this car.

 

it doesnt matter if the car is riced out enough to put the f&f cars to shame there is no age limit.

 

i think once youre out of high school its time to grow up. Upgrade the engine and all that but dont paint it or add decals or stuff like that.

I am 26, a father of two, a successful financial representative and the owner of a modded integra....If you are passionate about something, your never too old.

Kinda like asking if someone is too old for sex....

Doesn't matter, the answer is the same.

 

yea, i've seen all sorts of ages, oldest person i've seen came in w/ an ls/vtec question was around 40 years old. Him and his son were doing a project it looked like.

 

well, they aren't integras, but i'm 35, married with two kids and am the proud owner of two modified Accords. If it's something you like/enjoy/hobby, I don't think you can put a cutoff age on it.

 

I don't think your ever to old to mod a car. I see a old guy driving around town in a moded RX7.. Also theres a guy with a 300zx with Lambo doors, tons of engine work and he's like 40+

 

I'm 27/married w/a daughter and one on the way. I like cars...all of us here because we all share that common ground of liking cars. It's like being a guy and liking tits, it's never gonna go away. I have had my 99 since 2001 and I still turn the wrenches on it and always on the prowl for some goodies to add on. These cars are of the modern age for working on cars for the younger generation, the elders that get pulled in can't help but to think it is cool. How many times do you see an old timer driving a classic hot rod all fixed up? What do you think he was doing years back? When you love it you love it and you spend on it without thinking twice cause you enjoy it and you know you can't take it with you when you go.
