Default To old to mod??

Alright I think its finnaly time I ask:
I recently bought a 94 integra rs with 246k kms on it , I got it with a 6 month powertrain warranty from the garage I bought it at. The body of the car is in awesome condition minus a few scratches. Since I bought it, I put in a cd player and changed the brake pads. I love it, very fun to drive.
Anyways im wondering if this integra is too old to put mods in it, is it in good enough shape? Because its seen a lot of kliks since 94. Right now i dont see any problems with the car but time will tell...
And if it isnt to old for mods, any suggestions of what would be a smart buy.
thanx

basic bolt on's wont kill the engine. but once you start going beyond that and wanting to make real power, then a rebuild is in order.

Bolt ons like cold air intakes and stuff like that?

a good suspension setup with good rims/tires will make more of a noticeable difference than bolt on's.

basic bolt on's would be an intake, header, exhaust.

nothing is too old to mod....thats why we have 1930 something hotrods running around here. its up to you whether you have too much engine thrash or to many rust holes.

That's only about 150k miles, not really a big deal. I start to worry at 175k miles.

my teg has about 159k miles on it, its not stopping me from modding the bastard. the engine is still running strong so im not worrying yet. i also plan on doing some suspension mods just to make the car handle a lot better.

Default Too old...

Suspension upgrades, atleast to me, is neck and neck with performance mods. I spent about 4k on my suspension. adjustable tien ha suspension, front and rear sway bars, front and rear strut tower braces. It handles better than my brother's M3.

As to if the motor has too many miles on it to mod...

Stick to bolt on's. Anything more and you might have serious issues...I wouldn't go forced induction without at the VERY least, a rebuild.
