I am looking at a 1999 Integra coupe that the color is adark blue. I need to know if that is an original acura color and the car has not been repainted. I t only has 21500 miles on it also. TY

More than likely, if you pop the hood and the engine compartment isn't the same color as the rest of the car, it has been repainted. Sometimes people will pull the motor to paint there, but it is rare, so that is the best way to tell.

I thought you could tell the original color from decoding the VIN, but perhaps not. Also, if you look in the door jams, you can often tell if a car has been painted a different color. There are little stickers on every panel that came on the car that have the VIN, these will usually get painted over

On the drivers door jam theres a sticker that has a code on it. Thats the paint code, check (look up online) to see if it matches up with the color on your car.

Yes, you can also check the code on the drivers side door jam for the stock color. Then you can go to this thread and figure out what color it is supposed to be: https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...d.php?t=179419
