Tis a dealer part, will come with new washers as I recall, you need to release the pressure from the system, and keep in mind there will be some fuel in the lines, have a towel and fire extinguisher handy

The filter from the dealer is a little over 20 bills and that would be the best way to go. Pop the cap off the gas outlet, undo the top and botton 12mm I believe nuts and your good to go. Just have a towel or rag stuffed under what you are undoing, there will be a little bit of fuel but nothing major. Before you break the top nut though, draw a line w/a marker so you know when to stop tightening, there is a fuel hole that needs to line up. Piece of cake, good luck!!!

Just don't short circuit the battery with the wrench or you will need that fire extinguisher for sure. A new filter (with washers) is about $30 from the dealer, so just shell out the money for trusted quality. Also the hole doesn't need to line up in the bolt. If you take a look at the banjo fitting, the hole can be anywhere along the fitting and still allow fuel to go through it.

I wasn't sure about that, so that is what I did to make sure it lined back up. Better safe that sorry.
