Default Painting Body Mouldings

Hey Everybody,
I want to paint my body mouldings the same color as my car (instead of black). The mouldings I want to paint are the ones along the doors and at the bottom along the sides. How do I go about doing this? Thanks.

Go get some paint that matches your car...scuff the moldings with some 3M Red Scotchbrite pads, apply the paint. Allow 10-15 minutes between coats and don't try to cover the moldings in one coat, it'll take a good 4-5 coats.

its possible to do without taking them off but would be much more difficult and wouldnt allow you to paint the entire moldings..obviously and wouldnt look near as good...but to do it with them on you would just have to get masking paper and tape off the surrounding areas ie the body so the overspray wouldnt get on your body...but im sure you would regret doing it this way....take the 10 minutes and pull the moldings

You don't have to primer them
