Default Is this a good price for a 98 GSR?

I bought a 98 GSR w/ leather for 7500. It has 74,800. I talked the guy down from 9500. The only reason I was able to get it for that price was the guy & his wife just had twins few months ago. It has Toyo tires 205-50-15's. It's the sonic blue. I love the car.The only thing I need to do is get the timing belt, water pump etc done. I feel it's a steel with those miles. Car is stock, which was a plus not dogged out.

Yeah I bought the GSR for the 7500. I'm loving it. I've had it for a week since last Sat. I have some plans for car in the near future. My plans are as follows: tint,I,E,H.Amp/Box. I'm leaving my factory radio in until it stop working so I won't attract alot of attention.Maybe lowering car later. That'll be my chill ride & I'll run my 91 Si Civic at the track w/ my B16A1. It's a great feeling to have 3 rides. My wife & I also bought a 05 TL w/ Navagation the same day I bought my GSR. If anyone ever have a chance go test drive the new TL do it.

Default Gsr Ecu

One question where is the ECU located on a 98 GSR & would it be OBD1 or 2? Thanks.....

It is under the passenger side kick panel near the door. It is OBD2a, so you can't do anything with it.

When you speak of doing anything w/ it do you mean chipping or exchanging ECU's. I'm not worried about doing anything to my ECU. I'm mainly going to be chilling w/ it. I might test it out at the track once or twice but that's what my 91 Civic Si w/ B16A1 will be for..

You can swap it out for an OBD1 ECU but the stock OBD2 ECU isn't chippable and cannot be modified in any way.

do your cam seals when you replace the water pump and timing belt. Might want to replace the radiator hoses too, and change out the trans fluid too, just in case
