Well I'm glad to hear you all say that cold air intake don't cause damage, and the mechanic told her. Plus she kinda a tom boy type ladies so she not just a big bull shiter, but I don't know I honestly would like to do some research on it. She say that cars come in all time with valve damage. She does'nt claim that the damage hapen right away, its a slow proccess that it happens. I'm going to gather some info to clear this subject up. I'm guessing you guys are right, but ethier way all write a detailed article on a thread showing how a cold air intake and a engine work together.

it's not just the intake and how the engine works together.. its the whole package. I'm guessing you want something dealing with flow velocity or some sort.. hes an article from T-I
