Default DC Short shifter

Hey, gotta DC Short Shifter for my 94 integra LS, I was wondering if I need to get bushings (like energy suspension or some other brand) for it when I go to install it. Is this necessary? or can I just install it the way it is? thanks

Bushings are entirely optional. I do recommend them for a more positive feel when shifting. You can always install bushings later.

I don't know how long you've owned your car, but in a 94, if you replaced the shifter bushings with that short shifter... you'd feel a crazy difference, because unless the car was just babied beyond belief those stock rubber shifter bushing are blown to hell. Go get those new bushings put on and it'll feel like shifting a new car. They aren't expensive and the install isn't terribly hard.
