Carpool if you want to save a buck. Get a tune-up if you want better mpg.

air filter, fuel filter, fuel injector cleaner, tires (air pressure), plugs and ignition wires (if they are really old), clean cap and rotor, shift earlier, and lose weight...

check all that stuff...
