well the thing is i have 202000 miles on it. wouldent i have to get a new tranny and then rebuild it. so it does cost less to rebuild my b18 and then vtec it, over getting that b16a2? if thats better and less thats what i want to do besides i was planing on boosting it anyway.

Rebuild your B18 as described here: http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/motorbuild/build.php

A GSR block is better. The only downside for the GSR block and boost is the higher compression. The GSR has thicker cylinder walls, oil squirters, and a half girdle to reinforce the bottom end for the higher reving capabilities it has over an LS block. A GSR block is a better choice and will be better with boost if you put some lower compression slugs in. The reason the LS is better for boost is because of it already having relatively low compression. You will see bigger numbers out of a well tuned GSR motor running the same psi, though.

Don't worry about the LS-VTEC conversion. Rebuild the LS if you are so inclined and then boost it. Then, if you find the need for more power, you can think of the LS-VTEC conversion. You will need to seriously strengthen that motor to run a boosted LS-VTEC setup if you don't want to blow it up.

Put a girdle on it and beef up the rods and rod bolts. If you are boosting, you should probably sleeve it too.
