Default Cam suggestions? please?

I have a 96 GSR and was wondering what a good cam would be for it. I dont want all out drag but I do want something with punch without sacrificing driveability.

Any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated. Also, how hard is it to swap them out?

Got Skunk2 stage 1 cams, nice gives good power, and still maintains drivability, may need to up the ECU or get a VAFC, in my case it is needed casue i don't have a smooth power band. ( SKunk2 cams, SKunk2 intake, comtech headers, comptech ice box, apex i N1 exhaust) { Yet to install aem 5 bolt cam gears and my Apex-i VAFC 2}

SO far I have an Edelbrock intake manifold, DC intake, DC header, and a full CompTech exhaust. It has an upgraded ECU but that was by the previous owner and I dont know exactly what he did to it.

ditch that ecu for a stock unit and get something like a vafc when you get a set of cams. and spend some time on the dyno.

OBX stage 3 cams, $335 and they are amazing! upgraded valvetrain and tuning is required.

if u don't want to have to go on the dyno don't get cams, casue with bigger cams u will have have problems in your powerband, it will still be drivable but like in my case i have no power at 4500 to about 5800 rpms.... Also there is no such thing as a bolt on set of cams.... all require some work to get set up and something to be able to play around with your A/f ratio (VAFC)
