Default S80 Transmission in my GSR?

Hey recently I was looking at my tranny and there is a sticker on it that reads S80-serial number. I was like, whoa what, isnt this an LSD tranny from a type r? Then i was looking all over the net and every tranny that is S80 has a helical LSD from Honda. But this is a 1995 GSR, what gives? I mean the guy that had this car before me really modded it but never told me about this, wouldn't he have?

deeeeaaarrr god!

the Y80/S80 were used on G3 Integras (S80 was exclusive on the ITR). Most GSRs have S80 trannies as well. the difference is the case.

do a burnout and if you leave two equal length marks, you have an lsd. what are your rpm's at 80 in 5th gear?
