tuned turbo... but not impressive
hey i finally got my car dyno-tuned yesterday... first we ran it and my boost controller was acting up.. my car wwas set at 20 lbs of boost... lol... wtf?!? but we corrected it and set it back down to 8 lbs... i totally forgot that obd2 has too much restrisctions and at the end of the day i pushed out only 213 hps with 181 lbs of torque... this is tuned for my apexi vafc2 on greddy turbo.. should this me normal since its obd2... im going to cross over to obd1 soon.. and it should make a diffrence... im thinkin about 240-250 whp..

That sounds about right. kfar09 has the Greddy kit and it is tuned with uberdata and he is making about 210 whp. The only way you will make more HP out of the tiny Greddy turbo is to bump the boost up. After you hit 300 hp, the efficiency of the turbo becomes marginal.

for a ff you want a larger turbo and lag is your friend in a race cuz if the turbo spools too quick you smoke tires in first 2nd and 3rd the motor is about to kill it self but get a larger turbo than the stock mitus that comes with the kit, lag on a ff means okish 1st gear then your neck snapps at 2nd all the way up but get a hondata the help a lot with a obd1 and upping the boost on a small snail might only work for a little bit because over spoolin the turbo has a chance of damaging the turbo and allowing gases th come back up the pipe, ask the guys at club-s12.org my buddy with a 200sx knows more than he should about boost and the guys there are the same, since no after market for there cars the fab everything and know it inside out they can help

But anyways, I like the quick spool of the Greddy turbo because I am not using it for everyday racing, just daily drivability with an occasional track drag race. Traction is a factor, but I would rather have the smaller turbo with quick spool than a huge turbo that doesn't spool up until close to redline if I am primarily driving it on the street. I think he is probably primarily driving on the street, so I would think he has the same opinion.
Anyways, Hondata will not bring you to 250whp unless you pump the boost up to about 10psi. It will increase the torque numbers for that particular boost level but hp will not increase dramatically.
