There's NOT 3 thermostats.

ONE thermostat located at the lower radiator hose.
ONE fan switch located in the thermostat housing ('95).
- some earlier years had another fan switch, somewhere...
ONE sender for the dashboard temperature gauge (near upper hose).
ONE coolant temperature sensor (for ECU) (near upper hose).

The fan switches can technically be called thermostats, but car people traditionally don't call them that. It would be confusing...
