Ok I have a 94 Ls Teg, i have put lots of little boltons , E/H/M/I/ all the good easy stuff, now im not sure what to do next, i really want a turbo, but $$$, its costly, or i could just get new cams, camshafts, and port and polish like everything+ tune everything, oh by the way my car is auto, i hate that about it, but meh, help me out guys i need more power.

I'd definitely convert to manual, and then do whatever it is you want to do. For the money youd spend on a good port job for the head, valvesprings/retainers, cams, etc...you're well on your way to a turbo kit.

 

Sell it, buy a newer manual with less miles, and start saving for a turbo kit.

 

Im not about to buy a hole new car, or put a manual tranny in mine, thats a hole lot of money and work, i just need to know if its worth it to get a turbo or to just do some engine work, i just want some more power, if i was gona buy a new car i would get a rx7 or supra or something thats fast to begin with.

 

if you dont wanna do the auto to manual conversion. I would diffinately turbo the car. its basically perfect for a turbo setup. Low enough enough compression and hell its auto that means once the turbo spools that turbine will stay spooled sinces its auto.

 

But with an older engine like yours that probably has a decent amount of mileage, you should be concerned about just slapping a turbo on and calling it a day. The older they get, the less they will like boost, so if you are going to turbo, you should consider a rebuild. That is why I initially said buy a newer manual with less miles. It would save you the problems of auto to manual and rebuilding the tired engine before you even think about boosting.

 

Honda auto trannies don't like forced induction very much.

its true. the torque converter isn't that strong and will definitely screw up - along with the gears.
