Default My Integra has started to squeek. Any ideas?

It is not that noticeable, but when it does happen it does not happen long enough for me to figure out where it is coming from. It's not a mechanical squeek, I can tell that much. Sometimes I think it is coming from the rear and sometimes the front. Like I said it doesn't do it long enough to pin-point. At times it briefly sounds like there is a mouse under my dasboard. That's not it...but just to give an idea of the sound. So if your Integra has had some squeeks and you found and fix them, give me some ideas of what they may be so I can start looking. Thanks!!!

Did you have any polyurethane bushings installed in your car?

the shock towers on my car started to produce an intermittent noise like yours... it was coming from the bushings at the top of the strut assembly...

But the wonderful part about Hondas is that they all begin to squeak with age :happysad:

What kind of motions are you going through in the car when it squeaks?

Ok, I am not humping in the car, it is far to small for a man of my size. I have bushings with the camber kit and the suspension, but I know that squeek noise and that is not what I am hearing. It sounds like a door opening, like a squeeky door. I hear it when I take off and when I hit bumps. Still not sure what it could be...I'll try lubing some areas and see what happens, but I doubt that's it.

I little lubricant spray around the hinges just might do the trick.

Yup, my camber kit used to squeak like a bitch. Dubby told me to smear some lithium grease in there and it's all good now.

edit: that didn't turn out the way i wanted it.
