Does anyone know how to take the steering wheel off?

On your 94 I doubt if that airbag even works anymore, the charge could be lazy or even dead. My car has been hit twice and it has never gone off. Hit once in the front and the rear. So I don't know...just do what I am gonna do. Replace it with something sporty and throw that one in your garage until you need it. Besides, my interior is tan leather. It does not match too much and looks butt-ass-naked without a decent steering wheel cover.

oh well tan interior no good
as for it not working, that is questionable, your car has to be hit just right, at the right speeds for the airbag to deploy. my srs light has never come on so who knows
im not gonna replace mine with a non-srs unit, i have to pace an annual state inspection, not having it will fail me. id like to get an rsx/ep3 wheel for it but im not sure it will fit and i dont wanna spend the dough if it wont.

thought u should know... The two torx screws are not in the back of the steering wheel but on the sides, in between the two spokes. there is one behind the cruise control switch which u have to remove and the other one i believe is behind a plastic panel that snaps off. I believe the torx # is 9 but i'm only 80 percent sure about this.

No one remembered to mention having the wheel as straight as possible, so that when you put the new one on you dont find that you didn't get it lined up right, so now you have to take the damn thing off again, and try to get it 2 degrees to the left or right or whatever.

I was trained on this and you need to disconnect the battery for a minimum of 30 minutes and never put your face in the path of the airbag while removing it, ever. I had to watch a fawkin 2 hour video to learn this crap at the shop before being allowed to remove airbags.
