Another crazy person thinking about s2k cluster swap
I was wondering after MUCH MUCH searching, if the tachometer works. I have found out that the speedo won't work, but the tach should still work because it recieves an electrical signal, whereas the speedo is mechanical on integra and electronic (ecu controlled) on s2k.

I'm positive the speedo is electronic on the 94-01 Integra (DC*/DB) for all model years.
But beyond that, the real issue is convincing the S2K cluster to interpret signals from the Integra ECU. I don't see that being an easy issue to resolve. h: Hence, I don't recall anyone even trying this swap yet.
Maybe my age is showing, but I honestly fail to see the point in swapping clusters.. h: I mean the stock gauges are damn near perfect for legibility.. :dunno: Meh, whatever..
Best of luck.. you'll need it as you blaze this new trail.

If I end up doing the swap, or I should say attempt to do the swap it will probably be sometime around july or so. If It works I will post some pictures.
You have to admit that the s2k cluster is sweet with the tachometer like in F1 cars, plus it would just be fun.

I was thinking, if speedo doesn't work then I could get another digital speedo and graft it in place of s2k speedo. Thanks for all the support.
Also the integra gauges are great!, but I would just like to see if I can do the swap.

This website sells digital speedos and tachs. They also do a complete custom instrument panel, which i thought something you might be interested if you want to go for an ultimate custom look.
hope this helps.

I have been searching all the honda threads I can and I have found some ideas to try as soon as I buy a s2k cluster. If I get it to work, I should make a kit and then I could make tons of money, lol.
Basically you can get everything to work except for speedometer, the integra speedo recieves an analog signal, which is waves, and the s2k speedo receives a digital signal, which is blocks. DEFI makes a signal converter for its HUD(heads up display) and perhaps one could use that to convert the analog signals to digital for s2k speedo just like DEFI does for its digital speedo.
