Default does anyone know where i can find code meanings?

i got a misfire and it coded for 0303 for cylinder # 3. . .the mechanic said it was probable that i needed tune up. . new plugs and that. however i put NGK's in this past summer and did the tune up. . so is that a problem that i put NGK's in instead of the "platinum plugs"? Get back to me guys!! thank you!!!

Reset your ECU and it'll probably be fine. I occasionally get that code on startup...I reset the ECU and it's fine. NGK's are fine, I run them. Pull out your spark plug in #3 and make sure it's not fouled.

I would just go to your local Acura dealer. They will look at it and tell you what you need to do for free.

I would have it checked. It could be a few things. Spark plugs. Wires. Have you jumped the car off the line. Timing belt could have skipped a notch. I usually do all my work myself but if ppenguin says you can take it to the acura dealer and they'll check it for free I would do that. (especially if you don't know how to go that deep into mechanics) Also, if acura will not do it for free most auto zones will.

My Acura dealership WILL NOT do it for free..........long and short of it is that I got pissed and went across the street to AutoZone where it was free. haha

Here are a couple of links for decifering codes......there are many others out there.

If it was the timing belt skipping you'd more than likely have more than one cylinder misfire code. I'd be willing to bet it's either just a random misfire or a fouled plug.
