ebay actually has a lot of good deals. i buy stuff off there regularly. i just bought a brand new in box clarion cd player worth $259 for $80. strut bars are strut bars, no matter who makes them. i really can't justify spending more then $20 for one. i was just was wondering about these particular c/f strut bars since i've never seen them before and they're pretty cheap.

all strut bars are not created equal. some do the job better than others.

I have bought almost everything for my car off ebay. You have to weed through the shit though. Buy name brand stuff from power-sellers and you will get it cheaper than anywhere else.

This is absolutely incorrect. I remember the old DC bars, you could actually take them in your hands and bend them. Real rigid

Strut bars are not created equal. Mounting points, design, material...all makes a big difference.

Also with Ebay, sure you can get good name brand stuff for cheap (if its real), but for the most part the "ebay brands" are all garbage.

good point here, carbon fibre sells for alot more then what this guy has it for, it might just have a carbon fibre look to it and thats all but no real CF quality

Did you guys even click the link????

You can clearly see that its not *real* CF, its one of those aluminum ones with the cheap CF sticker wraped around it.

thanks for being the 2nd person to say that. what i meant by my original post is that a $5 strut bar off ebay that doesn't bend is going to give you the same result as an $80 top of the line name brand peice. sure the more expensive peice will probably look better and have hp adding stickers but a strut bar is a strut bar is a strut bar.

No problem...the other guy just didnt go into detail as to whats different. Not only that, but after 2+ people correct you you still spout off the same incorrect statement.

So basically what youre saying is, a strut bar is a strut bar, unless its different, then its a different strut bar. "A $5 strut bar will perform the same as an $80 strut bar, if its the same".

Give me a break. A $5 strut bar from Ebay is not going to be as rigid as a Neuspeed, Spoon, or even OEM bar. They are not the same.
